Why this kit matters

The F3H-2M Demon was a key US Navy carrier-based jet fighter during the 1950s and early 1960s. Designed as an all-weather interceptor, it was among the first Navy aircraft equipped with air-to-air missiles, marking a significant step in jet fighter development. The Demon served with distinction in several squadrons, providing fleet defence and helping to bridge the gap between early jets and the more advanced F-4 Phantom II.

Building this model offers a hands-on way to explore the history of naval aviation and the technological advances of the Cold War. The F3H-2M’s distinctive design and operational history make it a favourite among scale model aircraft builders and military aviation fans.
