Why this kit matters
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25 was developed by the Soviet Union during the 1960s as a high-speed interceptor designed to counter high-altitude threats such as strategic bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. Built mainly from stainless steel to withstand extreme heat, it became one of the fastest combat aircraft ever placed in operational service, capable of speeds above Mach 2.8.
The MiG-25PD was an upgraded interceptor version introduced in the late 1970s, fitted with improved radar and missile systems for better target detection and engagement. It served widely across Soviet air defence units and was exported to several allied nations. Its speed, altitude performance, and imposing shape made it one of the most recognisable Cold War aircraft ever built.
How to use it
Build using paint and glue. Display proudly once finished, at home or in your collection cabinet.
This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
