Why this truck matters

The MaxiTRANS B-Double is a key fixture of Australian heavy haul operations. Mactrans is one of the major players in the sector and this model captures their livery and equipment in miniature. Collectors who follow Aussie trucking will recognise the significance of the B-double format and the detailed features included here.

Owning this model means you get more than just a static vehicle—you get a scale representation of one of Australia’s workhorse combinations. The functional elements say a lot about the realism and collectible value.

How to use it

Display it on your shelf, desk or in a display case alongside other 1:50 scale models. Set it up in a trucking diorama if you wish. No painting, gluing or assembly needed—just unbox and showcase.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
