Description
2024 saw the end of CSA as an independent airline. Following financial trouble it had been operating a single A320 aircraft on one single route (Prague-Paris) a year before. Founded back in 1923, there is at least visually a future still for CSA. The remaining A320 as well as four new A220 aircraft that have been arriving one by one since November of 2024 are operated and owned by former rival Smartwings, using the CSA brand and livery. OK-FYD is the fourth and currently last of these brand-new aircraft to enter service, giving this once major and renowned airline a new lease on life.
