Why this car matters

The A60 Celica XX marked Toyota’s move toward a refined performance coupe. Inline six power, rear wheel drive balance, and long distance comfort defined its role. Known as Celica XX in Japan and Celica Supra elsewhere, it set the path for later Supra generations. The terracotta finish reflects the era’s bold design choices.
