The destroyer Isokaze, the 12th ship of the Kagerō-class destroyers, was built at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal. It fought from the attack on Pearl Harbor until it was scuttled after the Battle of Okinawa. This kit models Isokaze in its late-war configuration, where the main turrets were removed and additional anti-aircraft guns were installed, in 1/700 scale as a plastic model kit. With a well-balanced parts composition, it is simple to assemble yet accurately reproduced. Newly designed armament and equipment, such as the main guns and anti-aircraft guns, have been added. The precision and detail of the 1/700 scale are effectively represented.
