Why this kit matters

CV-18 Fujian is the first Type 003 aircraft carrier of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. It represents a major step in China's carrier programme and is the first Chinese aircraft carrier designed with electromagnetic catapult launch systems, allowing aircraft to launch without relying on the ski-jump arrangement used by earlier Chinese carriers.

Fujian was launched in 2022 and is conventionally powered. Its large flight deck and catapult-assisted take-off and arrested recovery arrangement support a wider range of carrier aircraft. How to use it
