Why this kit matters

The Typhoon class submarine, known as Project 941 Akula in Russia, is the largest submarine ever built. Designed during the Cold War, these nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines were a key part of the Soviet Navy’s strategic deterrent. With their massive size and advanced technology, Typhoon class subs could operate under the Arctic ice for extended periods, carrying up to 20 intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Only six Typhoon class submarines were constructed, and they became icons of naval engineering and Cold War history. Their unique double-hull design and impressive capabilities have made them a favourite subject for scale model builders and military enthusiasts worldwide.

How to use it

Build using paint and glue. Display proudly once finished, at home or in your collection cabinet.

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
