Why this kit matters

The Brewster B-239 Buffalo was an export variant of the American-built F2A Buffalo, supplied to Finland during the early stages of the Second World War. While considered underperforming in other theatres, it achieved remarkable success in Finnish service due to lighter armament load, improved maintenance, and skilled pilot tactics.

Finnish pilots achieved high victory-to-loss ratios using the B-239 during the Winter War and Continuation War against Soviet forces. The aircraft became a symbol of Finnish air combat effectiveness and is closely associated with several notable fighter aces.

How to use it

Build using plastic cement, modelling cutters, and fine brushes for camouflage and markings. Paint is required for authentic Finnish Air Force schemes. Display as part of a WWII fighter aircraft collection.

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
