Why this kit matters

The Boeing EA-18G Growler is a key aircraft in modern electronic warfare, developed from the F/A-18F Super Hornet platform. It plays a vital role in disrupting enemy radar and communications, supporting strike missions and enhancing survivability for allied aircraft. Operated by the United States Navy, the Growler represents the shift towards advanced electronic combat in modern air operations.

VAQ-131 “Lancers” is one of the Navy’s prominent electronic attack squadrons, with a long operational history supporting carrier air wings. Special marking editions like this 2025 scheme highlight squadron identity and operational heritage, making them popular subjects for scale model kits and collectors focused on contemporary military aviation.

How to use it

Build using plastic model glue and hobby tools such as sprue cutters and sanding sticks. Paint the aircraft using appropriate military colours before applying decals for the VAQ-131 scheme. Once complete, display your finished model on a shelf or in a collection cabinet.

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
