Hobby Master 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 ZJ913/FM-G RAF 2024 (with 2 x Empty Pylon 1 Center Fuel Tank)

The 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 ZJ913/FM-G RAF 2024 model represents a highly detailed replica of one of the world's most advanced multi-role combat aircraft, specifically configured for Royal Air Force service in 2024.

Here's a detailed description of what such a model typically entails:

• Aircraft Type: Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4. This is the latest and most capable multi-role variant operated by the Royal Air Force, designed for air-to-air combat (including Beyond Visual Range engagements) and precision ground attack missions. It's characterized by its delta wing and canard configuration, which provides exceptional agility and performance.

• Scale: 1/72. This is a very popular and widely collected scale for military aircraft models, offering a good balance between intricate detail and a manageable size for display.

• Specific Aircraft (ZJ913/FM-G): The model depicts a real Eurofighter Typhoon with the specific Royal Air Force serial number ZJ913 and squadron code FM-G. This signifies a particular airframe within the RAF fleet, adding to its authenticity and collectible value. The "2024" indicates its operational status or representation in that year.

• Operator: Royal Air Force (RAF). The model will feature authentic RAF markings, including roundels, fin flashes, and unit badges (if applicable to the specific aircraft's squadron).

• Armament Loadout: A key feature of this specific model is its depicted weapon configuration:

  • 2 x ASRAAM (Advanced Short-Range Air-to-Air Missile): These are infrared-guided missiles for close-range air combat, typically carried on the outer wing pylons.

  • 4 x AIM-120 AMRAAM (Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile): These are radar-guided missiles for beyond-visual-range engagements, often carried semi-recessed under the fuselage or on wing pylons.

  • 1 x Middle Fuel Tank: A large auxiliary fuel tank mounted on the centerline pylon to extend the aircraft's range or loiter time. This particular loadout suggests an air-to-air interception or combat air patrol configuration.

• Typical Model Features (for a 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon):

  • Highly Detailed Exterior: Accurate panel lines, rivets (often finely engraved), and surface details.

  • Detailed Cockpit: Includes instrument panels, control stick, throttle, and ejection seat (often with pilot figure).

  • Poseable Control Surfaces: Depending on the model, features like canards, elevons, and rudder might be posable.

  • Landing Gear: Designed to be displayed either extended for ground configuration or retracted for in-flight display (with a display stand usually included if it's a diecast model).

  • Authentic Paint Scheme: Replicates the standard low-visibility gray camouflage typically worn by RAF Typhoons.

  • Precision Decals/Tampo Printing: For serial numbers, codes, national insignia, warning stencils, and squadron badges.
