Why this kit matters

The Fokker Dr.I was a German First World War fighter developed from the Fokker V.5 triplane. Its three-wing layout gave the aircraft a strong rate of climb and high maneuverability, making it well suited to close-range aerial combat on the Western Front. The Dr.I entered operational service in 1917.

The aircraft is strongly associated with German fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, better known as the Red Baron. The Fokker Dr.I became one of the most recognizable aircraft of the First World War despite its relatively short operational career. Its distinctive shape has also made it a popular subject for scale model kits and aviation collections.

How to use it

Build using modelling tools, plastic model cement and suitable paints. The ProfiPACK edition includes pre-painted photo-etched parts, decals and a painting mask. Display proudly once finished at home or in your collection cabinet.

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
