Why this kit matters
The Heinkel He 51 was developed in Germany during the early 1930s as a single-seat biplane fighter. The B-2 floatplane version adapted the aircraft for naval and coastal operations by replacing the wheeled landing gear with twin floats, allowing operation from water.
The aircraft served during a period when military aviation was rapidly changing, just before faster monoplane fighters became standard. He 51 variants also appeared during the Spanish Civil War, where they quickly showed the limits of biplane fighter performance against newer aircraft designs. The float-equipped version remains one of the more unusual developments of the type.
How to use it

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly, paint, and glue are required. It is not a toy.
