Why this aircraft matters

The MiG-17F marked a key step in early jet fighter development. It improved climb rate and handling over the MiG-15 and saw wide service during the Cold War. Armed versions with rocket pods showed its flexibility beyond air combat.

This model reflects that role. Do you collect early jets or Cold War aircraft?

How to use it

Display it on your shelf, desk, or in a cabinet with other 1:72 Cold War jets. Pair it with NATO opponents to show the era’s air power balance.

Perfect for Cold War historians, Soviet aviation fans, and compact military aircraft displays, backed by Hobby Master’s focus on detailed and licensed replicas.

This is a diecast model. It is fragile and not recommended for children.
