Why this kit matters

The Scimitar Mk.2 CVR(T) is a British reconnaissance vehicle, part of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) family. Introduced in the early 1970s, the Scimitar has served with distinction in the British Army, known for its speed, agility, and the powerful 30mm Rarden cannon. The Mk.2 upgrade brought improved protection and reliability, making it a favourite among crews for its versatility on the battlefield.

Used in conflicts from the Gulf War to Afghanistan, the Scimitar Mk.2 remains a symbol of British armoured reconnaissance. Its compact size and advanced features have made it a popular subject for scale model enthusiasts and military historians alike.
