Details
Spy plane royalty, and the airframe that started a generation.
The Lockheed U-2 "Dragon Lady" has flown high-altitude reconnaissance for the US Air Force since the 1950s, and remains in service today. 68-10329 is a significant airframe: it was the first of the larger U-2R production block (68-10329 through 68-10340). It first flew as N803X on 28 August 1967, was also flown by the Republic of China Air Force, and was the first aircraft to fly with the wing-mounted "Superpods".
Hobby Master models the aircraft as it appeared at Osan Air Base, South Korea, in 2016, finished in the U-2's signature all-black scheme.
