Why this kit matters

The V-22 Osprey is a revolutionary tiltrotor aircraft, combining the vertical take-off and landing capabilities of a helicopter with the speed and range of a fixed-wing plane. Used by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (J.G.S.D.F.), the Osprey enhances rapid deployment and transport missions, reflecting Japan’s commitment to modernising its defence capabilities.

This special edition kit commemorates the 107th Aviation unit’s participation in the Saga Special 2026 event, highlighting the Osprey’s role in Japanese military aviation. The included decals and markings offer a rare opportunity to build a model with authentic, event-specific details, making it a standout addition to any collection.
