AC2ZKNZD 1/200 Air New Zealand Douglas DC-8-54F ZK-NZD
This aircraft was originally delivered to Air New Zealand in 1968 as a DC-8-52, where it operated for 13 years as a passenger aircraft, commonly ferrying people across the Tasman sea to Australia. In 1981, the aircraft was converted to a freighter and it’s designation changed to DC-8-54F. It operated with Air New Zealand Cargo for a further 8 years before being sold to Connie Kalitta Services in the United States.
