Awkward Guests 2: The Berwick Cases is a head-to-head deduction game where both players are simultaneously solving a murder — and plotting one. Each player takes on two opposing roles across the two cases: in one you are the investigator racing to uncover the truth, and in the other you are the mastermind who set the crime in motion.

As the investigator, you roll query dice and use the results to extract information from your rival — interrogating suspects, examining the crime scene, questioning household staff, and searching for clues across the Berwick Mansions. The mastermind reveals only what the dice demand, concealing just enough to stay ahead. The first investigator to correctly answer all three questions wins:

• Who killed Beatrice (or Berenice) Berwick?
• How did the murderer end her life?
• Why did they do it?

Variable setup ensures no two games play out the same way, and the dual-role structure means you're never just watching — you're always working both sides of the case at once.
