Megacorpin Games Awkward Guests: The Mr Walton Case
It's late evening at Walton Mansion. The guests have barely finished their drinks when the housekeeper makes a grim announcement: Mr. Walton has been found dead in his study.
Awkward Guests is a deduction card game powered by the Brilliant Deck System — a setup engine that generates a different murder every game. With 3,600 possible case solutions, each reachable through thousands of different card combinations, no two games ever play out the same way.
Each player takes on the role of a detective competing to crack the case first. You'll interrogate suspects, question the household staff, examine the crime scene, search the mansion for clues, and review police reports — all while trading information with your opponents, or strategically withholding it. Four questions stand between you and victory:
- Who killed Mr. Walton?
- How did the murderer end his life?
- Why was he targeted?
- Was there an accomplice?
Cases are organised across seven difficulty levels, from Beginner through to Perfect Crime, making the game accessible for newcomers while offering a genuine challenge for experienced sleuths. Rules are simple enough to learn in minutes, and the game supports solo play right through to a full table of eight.
