The two-seat version of the most modern aircraft in the Navy is finally done right! The Super Hornet is gradually replacing the F-14 Tomcat, and Japan's last Tomcat squadron is gone. Hasegawa's kit features fine recessed panel lines and good detail for the scale. Most importantly, it accurately represents a production version of this airplane, with correct speed brake configuration and some of the latest weapons, including two AIM-9X Sidewinders! Markings are included for 2 airplanes, BuNo 165798 of VFA-102 "Diamondbacks" in two sets of markings - NG 102 in 2002 and NF 102 in 2003 - as well as BuNo 165916 of VFA-2 "Bounty Hunters" as a colorful CAG bird.
