Why this model matters

The DB Class 218 is one of Germany’s most widely used diesel locomotives. It operates on non-electrified routes, handling both passenger and freight services. Its adaptability made it a key part of Deutsche Bundesbahn and later Deutsche Bahn operations.

This model fits a wide range of layouts. Use it on regional lines, rural routes, or secondary mainlines where diesel traction remains essential.

How to use it

Place the locomotive on your HO gauge track. Connect power through your controller and run it with suitable rolling stock. Keep track clean and check wheel contact for reliable performance.

This is a plastic model. Assembly, paint, and glue are not required. It is not a toy.
