A single HM6000 can control up to two independent circuits, while up to four HM6000 units can be linked to the HM | DC app to control up to eight independent circuits from one phone or tablet.
How to use itPair the HM6000 with the HM | DC app on a compatible smartphone or tablet, connect the required transformer and use the app to control the connected analogue circuits. Hornby specifies Bluetooth 4.0 support, iOS 10 or later or Android 8.0 Oreo or later, and at least 2GB RAM, with 3GB RAM advised. Each HM6000 requires a separate transformer, which is sold separately. The HM | DC app can then be used for speed and direction control, acceleration and deceleration settings, locomotive sounds, emergency stop functions and layout planning.
