Why this model matters

The Victorian Railways K Wagon was one of the most common open wagons in Australia, carrying coal, timber, agricultural products, machinery, and general freight across the network. Their versatility meant they appeared in almost every type of goods train, making them an essential addition to authentic Australian freight formations from the steam and early diesel eras.

How to use it

Place the wagons on compatible HO gauge track and couple them behind your locomotive using the fitted standard couplings. Combine them with other period-correct freight stock to create realistic mixed goods trains typical of Victorian Railways operations during the 1960s.

This is a ready-to-run model wagon set. It is not a toy and is recommended for collectors and modellers aged 14 years and over.
