The QQAY class represents BEZY wagons that were converted to standard gauge for QR's expansion into interstate standard gauge intermodal operations. The QQAY wagons were fitted with a modified 1435mm gauge QRWEH 70T bogie. Aurizon later operated QQAY wagons in its container wagon fleet, including operations in Western Australia.
