Description
The DD51 Hokutosei color, which appeared in 1988 for the sleeper limited express towing in Hokkaido, is active as the main diesel locomotive of JR Hokkaido, towing the Blue Train (Hokutosei / Cassiopeia) in the double heading. Due to the shrinking of passenger trains, the cars were gradually scrapped, and the last 5 cars retired due to the end of normal operation of "Casio Pair" in March 2016.
