Why this model matters

The Grampus wagon was widely used across the British Rail network for permanent way maintenance, particularly ballast and track work. Its olive green departmental livery represents a key part of British railway infrastructure operations.

This model adds realism to engineering trains and helps recreate authentic maintenance scenes on both modern and transitional-era layouts.

How to use it

Place on compatible N gauge track and couple to locomotives or other engineering wagons. Ideal for use in ballast trains, maintenance depots, and track work formations.

This is a model railway item. No assembly, paint, or glue is required. It is not a toy.
