Dapol N Siphon H GWR 1432 Weathered
The siphon wagon was a ventilated wooden wagon designed by the GWR for the mass transport of milk contained in churns. Siphon wagons went through many design formats, the most popular of which were G and H. The wagons survived into privatisation, with the last one being withdrawn in 1962. Founded in 1983, Dapol originally entered the OO gauge model railway market but decided to withdraw from the UK's OO gauge scene on 2000. Two years later the company entered the N gauge market by launching its 14xx tank engine. The company has since re-entered the OO gauge and O gauge markets.
