Description
The Taki 35000 is a "standard tank car" jointly designed by vehicle manufacturers for the first time. It is a 35 t black tank car whose 1108 cars were manufactured from 1966 (1966). Active in various places from the JNR era to recent years, in the trunk line where high-speed driving is required, it gave its seat to the successor Taki 43000 and Taki 1000.Taki 35000 for jet fuel transportation to the US Army Yokota base is a popular tank wagon called "US Tan". A sticker of "JP-8" indicating kerosene-based jet fuel is attached. The traction machine has been changed from EF64-1000 to EH200 since the revision in March 2008, and it is currently operated as a dedicated train of 15 cars between Aijima and Anzan.
