Why this kit matters

The Sukhoi SU-47 Berkut is one of the most unusual fighter prototypes ever built. Developed in Russia during the late 1990s, it featured forward-swept wings, a layout rarely used on operational combat aircraft due to complex aerodynamic forces. The design explored new approaches to manoeuvrability and high-angle flight control.

While the SU-47 never entered mass production, its test data helped shape later Russian fighter projects. This model preserves a key chapter in experimental aviation and offers builders a chance to own a rare aircraft design in compact scale form.

How to use it

Assemble the fuselage, wings, tail and landing gear using plastic model glue. Apply primer and paint in your chosen Russian prototype scheme. Add decals once paint has cured, then seal with a clear coat. Display on a shelf, desk, or in an aircraft cabinet.

This is a plastic model kit. Assembly is required. Paint and glue required (not included).
