Why this kit matters
The BMW 320i Racing was developed for the 1977 racing season from the E21-generation 320i two-door saloon. Its 2,000cc 16-valve inline-four engine produced 298 horsepower, while its racing body was developed with prominent overfenders, a front chin spoiler and a rear wing.
The BMW 320i Racing made its competition debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona at the start of the 1977 season. BMW's 320i Racing also became involved in a strong rivalry with the Porsche 935 in the two-litre class, giving the car an important place in BMW's 1970s motorsport history.
How to use it
