Why this kit matters
The Volkswagen Type 2 made its debut in March 1950, using the Volkswagen Beetle as its base. It featured a rear-mounted, air-cooled four-cylinder engine and became known in many forms as a practical transport vehicle.
The Samba was one of the best-known Type 2 variants. Its 23-window version featured a distinctive window-filled body, canvas roof and seating for up to nine adults. The Type 2 (T1) remained in production until 1967 and has since become a well-known classic vehicle.
How to use it
Build the model by cutting the parts from the sprues and fitting them together using the Clic Loc snap-fit system. Paint and glue are not required. Side cutters, tweezers and a modelling knife are recommended for the build. Display the completed scale model at home or in your collection cabinet.
This is a plastic model kit. Assembly is required. Paint and glue are not required. It is not a toy.
