Why this kit matters

The Type 1 Ho-Ni I was a self-propelled gun used by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Developed to provide mobile artillery support, it was based on the Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tank chassis. The Ho-Ni I was equipped with a 75mm Type 90 field gun, offering significant firepower against enemy fortifications and armoured vehicles.

Despite its limited production, the Type 1 Ho-Ni I played a crucial role in the Pacific Theatre, showcasing Japan's adaptation to modern warfare needs. This model kit allows enthusiasts to explore a piece of military history, bringing the past to life through detailed assembly and painting.
