Why this kit matters

The BT7 was a Soviet light tank used during the early stages of World War II. Known for its speed and manoeuvrability, it played a crucial role in the Soviet Union's armoured forces. The BT7's design was influenced by American engineer J. Walter Christie's innovative suspension system, which allowed for rapid movement across various terrains.

During its service, the BT7 was involved in significant battles, including the Battle of Khalkhin Gol against Japan and the initial stages of Operation Barbarossa. Its historical significance and unique design make it a fascinating subject for model builders and history enthusiasts alike.
