Why this kit matters

HMS General Wolfe was a Lord Clive-class monitor of the Royal Navy, launched in 1915 and named after General James Wolfe, a British Army officer known for his victory at the Battle of Quebec. Designed for shore bombardment, she was equipped with heavy artillery and played a significant role during the First World War, particularly in operations along the Belgian coast.

In 1918, HMS General Wolfe became the first ship to fire a 18-inch gun in action, targeting German positions at Ostend. Her unique design and operational history make her a fascinating subject for naval enthusiasts and scale modellers interested in early 20th-century warships and British naval engineering.

How to use it
