A distinctive Tone-class heavy cruiser with main guns placed at the front. The second ship of the Tone-class, "Chikuma," is modeled in a 1/700 scale plastic kit as it appeared in the early stages of the war before its anti-aircraft equipment was enhanced. The parts are designed to capture the key points, making it simple and easy to assemble while accurately reproducing the details. Various fittings such as machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and seaplanes have been newly designed and added. It accurately captures the incredible detail and precision of a 1/700 scale model.
