Why this kit matters

The HH-60J Jayhawk is a medium-range search and rescue helicopter operated by the United States Coast Guard. Based on the Sikorsky S-70 family, the Jayhawk is equipped for maritime patrol, search and rescue, and law enforcement missions. Its advanced avionics, powerful engines, and robust airframe make it a vital asset for saving lives and protecting coastlines.

Introduced in the 1990s, the HH-60J has played a key role in countless rescue operations, disaster responses, and homeland security missions. Its distinctive red and white livery is recognised worldwide, symbolising safety and service. Building this model offers a chance to appreciate the engineering and dedication behind every Coast Guard mission.
