Why this mat matters

A gravel base layer is essential in realistic railway modelling, helping unify trackwork, scenery, and infrastructure. This mat provides an instant foundation that saves time compared to traditional ballast and ground cover application methods while maintaining a natural appearance.

How to use it

Lay the mat onto your baseboard and trim to fit your layout design. It can be fixed using spray adhesive, PVA glue, or double-sided tape. Track and scenery can then be installed directly over or into the surface.

This is a scenic modelling material. It is not a toy.
