Why this kit matters

The Opel Blitz was one of the most widely used German military trucks during the Second World War. The Kfz. 305 Typ A 4x4 variant was designed for improved off-road capability, allowing it to operate in difficult terrain such as mud, snow, and uneven ground. It played a key role in transporting troops, supplies, and equipment across various fronts.

Reliable and versatile, the Opel Blitz became a backbone of military logistics. Its widespread use highlights the importance of transport vehicles in supporting frontline operations. This model represents a key part of wartime mobility, offering modellers the chance to recreate realistic support and supply scenes.
