Launched in 1944, it was a marvel of engineering but met an untimely end just ten days after commissioning. Its brief yet impactful presence in naval history makes it a fascinating subject for model builders.

This kit allows enthusiasts to recreate a piece of maritime history, offering insight into Japanese naval strategies and shipbuilding techniques of the era. The Shinano's story is a testament to the rapid advancements and challenges faced during the war.
