Why this kit matters

It played a crucial role in the Battle of Britain and became a symbol of resistance and innovation. The Mk. IX variant was introduced to counter the threat of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190, featuring a more powerful engine and enhanced armament.

Its legacy continues to captivate aviation enthusiasts and historians alike, making it a popular subject for scale modelling. Building this kit offers a glimpse into the engineering marvels of the past and honours the brave pilots who flew them.
