Why this kit matters

Double blocks are essential components in the rigging of traditional sailing ships, used to change the direction of a rope or cable. These blocks are a crucial part of the ship's rigging system, allowing for the adjustment of sails and other equipment. Historically, they played a vital role in the operation of sailing vessels, contributing to the efficiency and manoeuvrability of ships during the Age of Sail.

In model shipbuilding, these blocks add a layer of authenticity and detail, enhancing the overall appearance and accuracy of the model. They are a testament to the intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail that model shipbuilders strive for, making them a must-have for any serious hobbyist.
