#MySeriouslyFunChristmas Christmas Movies You Should Watch This Christmas!

It’s that time of year again. Time to watch all your favourite Christmas movies! What's your favourite Christmas movie? At Hobbyco we love our Christmas Movies! “A Christmas Movie” is a film that we love to revisit with friends and family at Christmas time. Classic Christmas movies bring loved ones together through entertainment, similar to toys and hobbies. Movie 1: The Santa Clause (1994) Tim Allen at his finest comedic self, accidentally kills a man in a Santa suit by accidentally making him fall from a roof. He is then shipped to the North Pole to take the role of Santa, much to his son’s delight just before Christmas. Movie 2: Jingle All The Way (1996) Arnold Schwarzengger is a dad hunting for an action figure called Turbo Man for his son which has sold out across all stores. This adventure family comedy is a perfect light hearted movie for the family this Christmas. A perfect lesson on why you should get your Hobby Christmas shopping done early! Online orders stop at 13th of December for Parcel Post and 20th of December for Express Post (Excludes WA and NT) for Christmas. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989) The third movie of the National Lampoon collection is about the Griswold Family who plan a Christmas vacation which turns into a disaster. This disaster provides plenty of laughs. We love our comedy classics just as much as we love our timeless hobbies. Movie 4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) The iconic Grinch movie is a must have on the Christmas movie list! The Grinch is a story about a grumpy character who hates Christmas and who through friendship and the spirit of Christmas finds happiness and meaning. Don’t forget to spread the Christmas spirit and create wonderful memories with your friends, colleagues and loved ones this Christmas. Movie 5. ‘NOELLE’ (2019) We love Disney at Hobbyco, especially Disney movies from the big screen. This 2019 Adventure Family Comedy starring the wonderful Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader details how Santa’s daughter (Noelle played by Anna Kendrick) must take over the family business when her Father (Santa) retires. Her brother Nick is next in line to take on the role of Santa, only problem is he isn’t ready to be Santa Clause. Can Noelle save Christmas? Movie 6. ‘THE POLAR EXPRESS’ (2004) Polar Express is a movie for the whole family, especially the train enthusiasts! Based on Chris Van Allsburg’s children’s book, a young boy who does not believe in Santa takes a trip of a lifetime to the North Pole. On the way he learns about friendship, bravery and the importance of Christmas spirit. Move 7. ELF (2003) We all know the Iconic Movie Elf! It’s hard to forget about this Christmas Gem this time of the year. Buddy (Will Ferrel) is a human raised in the North Pole by Christmas elves. Buddy goes to New York in search of his biological father. Buddy definitely purchased the wrong gift for his Father in this film! Don’t be like Buddy and get the wrong gift for your loved ones this Christmas. Follow the Hobbyco Christmas Guide to ensure the perfect gift for your loved ones this Christmas. Movie 8. Home Alone 2 Stuck in New York (1992) One year since Kevin Mcallister was left home alone to defend his family home against two crooks, he runs into them again in New York, where he finds himself stranded alone AGAIN! We choose number 2 in this historic franchise as who wouldn’t love to be in the iconic Hobby and Toy Store this Christmas? We love the scene where Kevin goes into the world famous FAO Schwarz store, known as Duncan’s Toy Chest. How could you not want all those toys? Movie 9. Klaus (2019) Acts of Christmas kindness in a frozen faraway town sparks joy, as the town’s postman and Klaus used their gift giving skills to end a feud and deliver Christmas spirit to everyone. Help spread the Christmas joy with hobbies and toys for everyone these festive holidays. Movie 10. Die Hard (1988) Is Die Hard a Christmas Movie? We will leave that up for you to decide! Either way this is a great movie to watch over the holiday break. John Mclane flies to LA to spend Christmas with his estranged wife who is held in a hostage situation alongside her colleagues.
